Our House, is a Very, Very, Very Fine House
Ok, for those of you who wanted pictures of the house, this was faaaaar easier than trying to email it. So let me take you on a virtual tour :)
Meet The Red Door House
This is the hallway when you walk in. Warren (our landlord) left that dry sink there. Debrah's room is the door way on the right and the living room is on the left.
This is half of Debrah's room. She has the biggest because she has the most stuff as an Art Major.
Also, Warren leaves all the rugs for his tennants so we put the ugliest one in her room. She took one for the team.
Looking through the living room to the kitchen
From the kitchen into the living room
Half bath off the kitchen
Full bath...right next to the other one?
Walking straight in from the living room
The door on the right is to my room
The door in the middle is out to the back porch/laundry
The door on the left is to Kat' room
Kitchen, to the left of Kat's room in the picture above
Kat's room off the back of the kitchen
Looking into my room from the dining room
When you walk into my room. Look how pretty my bedding is Gramma!
From the corner- closet. A little messy.
Dresser and Desk...that door goes out to the back porch where the laundry room is.
Looking through from the back of the house.
The end.
We're very happy with it and it already feels like home...especially now that we have furniture!
Feel free to visit anytime :)

Now What...?
Well, I'm home.
For two weeks now.
I flew in the 21...worst travel experience ever. I almost missed flights and the second one ended up being an hour and half delayed. I didn't sleep at all and I got in past midnight GA time. I didn't get two of my three bags for two days.
But I did get home and that is the point. And I had lots of magically loving faces there when I got off the plane.
I was home with Mom and Dad for a week to which I crammed in family and friends and frantic packing and shopping before driving down with Mom, Dad, and Sydney. The moving in was a relatively painless process...waaaaaaaay better than the dorm experience.
They stayed for the weekend and I went back and forth between unpacking and the InterVarsity leadership retreat until they left on Monday morning.
Classes started on Wednesday and luckily, I was able to add the class I needed so I have a full schedule now. My hours would be perfect for working but I definitely lost my job...thanks to the US's current shining economic situation. I think it's God's way of helping me adjust to being a student again...or being young for that matter.
This weekend Courtney, Mike, and Andrew came to give us some furniture and so did Kat's (one of my roommates) dad. So we went from having an empty house to a completely furnished one and we looooove it! It feels like a home which is such a change from the dorms! And it's our's! That's the crazy part. Hopefully, I'll post pictures soon.
It's been super nice having Courtney here. This afternoon Debrah (my other roommate) and Andrew baked cupcakes together while I de-furred our new couches. Courtney took me grocery shopping and to get some household things so that was a huge help.
Tomorrow starts my first full week of life. (That's right...no Labor Day off.) InterVarsity's first Common Ground is tomorrow night at 8. My evening class goes until 6:45 so I'll miss the first 45 minutes of small group prep, be there from 7-8 for leadership, then Common Ground. Long day I'd say. Wednesday is our first small group. I'm leading with a guy I don't really know named Rob, but I'm still excited about it. Also, Adam who was in my small group last year. We're going to start cooking this week too...which is frightening because I haven't made a good name for myself so far.
I've talked with some friends who were overseas for the summer and they have clarified that I am indeed going through culture shock. Let me say, it is not what I expected it to look like and I am not enjoying it.
That is all.
